Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) received a significant work order on Tuesday. In an exchange filing, the company said that it has received an order worth Rs 13,000-15,000 crore from MP Power Generating Company.

BHEL stated that it has received an order for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of a 660 MW supercritical thermal power plant at Amarkantak Unit in Madhya Pradesh , as well as a 660 MW thermal power plant at the Satpura Unit of M.P. Power Generating.

Order details

The company stated that the work order includes the supply of equipment, erection and commissioning, as well as civil works for the projects. Each power plant project will be completed in a period of 57 months, the company added.
