SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A man is dead after being shot from outside of his vehicle on Monday, Sept. 29.

Shreveport officers responded to the incident at around 11:30 p.m. near Gilbert Drive and Egan Street.

Officials say the man was stopped at the intersection when he was shot multiple times.

Investigators are interviewing witnesses and have recovered shell casings from the scene.

SPD has not provided a description of the gunman.
