Actor Josh Hartnett was taken to a hospital for treatment after the vehicle he was riding in crashed into a patrol car in Newfoundland, Canada.
A news release from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the crash occurred at about 1 a.m. Sept. 25 in St. John’s. Hartnett, 47, and the 59-year-old driver, whose identity was not released, suffered minor injuries, the report says.
A male officer also was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Both vehicles were heavily damaged, police say.
Susan Patricola, a spokeswoman for Hartnett, tells USA Today that Hartnett is OK and has returned to work. Hartnett currently is filming an untitled project for Netflix in St. John’s, the CBC reports .
