CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Five Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen locations in Iowa violated franchise agreements and should no longer be using Popeye’s name or branding, according to a lawsuit filed by the fast food chicken company.

The stores at the center of the lawsuit are located at:

750 Coral Ride Ave in Coralville

3401 E Ave NW in Cedar Rapids

4140 Merle Hay Road in Des Moines

4825 Asbury Road in Dubuque

4015 Lowes Blvd in Waterloo

According to the lawsuit, each of the Popeyes locations are owned and operated by Asif Poonja and Jam Equities.
