The Delhi Airport has switched to E-arrival cards for foreign passengers from October 1, allowing them to fill in their information online instead of using manual paper-based cards.

According to PTI, Delhi Airport operator DIAL stated in a release that the new format will facilitate international travellers with a hassle-free arrival process and swift online documentation without the use of paper. It will also help reduce long queues.

The new facility will be implemented under the umbrella of the Bureau of Immigration. Similar facilities are already available at airports in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia, according to the release.
