Breaking: Punjab Govt declares holiday on Oct 8

Amritsar (Punjab), September 30, 2025: The Punjab government has announced a holiday on 8th October in observance of Sri Guru Ram Das Ji’s Prakash Gurpurab.

On this day, schools, colleges, and government offices across the state will remain closed. According to the official notification, the holiday has been declared at the local level to mark the religious occasion.
