Want tickets to Sox-Yankees series? You can't buy through Ticketmaster if you live in NH

BOSTON —

Red Sox fans -- if you're trying to go to an AL Wild Card Series game in New York, Ticketmaster is limiting who can buy tickets.

In a warning on their website, Ticketmaster said that "sales to this event will be restricted to residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Residency will be based on credit card billing address."

Sales from outside those states will be canceled and refunded.

Other ticket sites such as SeatGeek and StubHub do not appear to be limiting sales by billing address.

The Yankees are hosting all three of the games in the series, with Game 1 set for Tuesday night.
