DETROIT — It’s a bit of a full-circle moment for Caris LeVert sitting in the Detroit Pistons Performance Center.

LeVert is about to play some 45 minutes away from Ann Arbor, where he played his college career at Michigan and he’s once again teammates with Duncan Robinson , another former Wolverine.

The pair were each acquired by the Pistons this offseason after overlapping for two years at Michigan, remaining close as they went on their respective NBA journeys.

It’s exciting for the two to reconnect near their old stomping grounds, but another former Michigan and Pistons player was a big reason LeVert, 31, will be playing home games in Downtown Detroit this season.
