SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - The final day of September will bring us mostly cloudy skies and unseasonably warm weather. The warm and dry pattern shows no signs of slowing down as we move into the first days of October.
An upper-level disturbance is swinging through the ArkLaTex today. It has dropped some rain in central Texas, but we are likely to dry to see any of the rain reach the surface in the ArkLaTex. I can't rule out a few sprinkles, but in all likelihood it will be a dry and warm day with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
We will clear out overnight, and a whole bunch of sunny days are to follow through the weekend with high temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s. This is far from record territory which is near 100 degrees, but these temperatures are about 5 to 10 degrees abov
