Headland swept Ashford in three sets on Monday in high school volleyball action, capturing a 25-14, 25-29, 25-16 win.

Kit Quinlivan had eight kills, two aces and four digs and Kiley Jenkins four kills, three aces, seven digs and two block assists to lead the Rams. Joli Johnson delivered eight assists, two aces and five digs and Carrigan Blaha distributed six assists and three digs. Gates Carver added four kills and three aces, Lola Jenkins three kills, two solo blocks and three blocks assists and Paisley Whitten eight digs.

Kinston 3, Geneva 0

Kinston swept Geneva 25-23, 25-12, 25-19.

Emma Kate Marler had 10 aces and four kills, Allyx Williamson four kills and Lilli Sumblin 22 assists for Kinston. Gracie Rhoades added seven aces.
