Leeds United have confirmed Daniel James is currently sidelined with an ankle injury which is being assessed, although fears of a long-term absence have been discarded.

Rumours had started to grow in the past 24 hours that the winger had suffered a serious injury at training this wee and was facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Those fears were calmed somewhat when James was this morning named in the Wales squad for the forthcoming international break next week.
