Emmerdale's Lisa Riley shared how "proud" she was to take home the Inside Soap Award for the Dingle family.

It was a big night for the soaps on Monday (September 29), as the Inside Soap Awards to place for another year to celebrate some of the best stories, stars, and stunts.

While it was Coronation Street who won the coveted Best Soap award, Emmerdale didn't go home empty handed.

Emmerdale won the best family trophy with the Dingle clan claiming it for a fifth time – more than any other family in the history of the Inside Soap Awards.

Amelia Flanagan was also named best young performer for the fourth time, for her role as April Windsor.
