GADAG: Two groups clashed over a trivial issue at Koravar Colony in Nargund town after a dispute between children playing in the area escalated into a full-blown fight between the parents with sticks, stones and wooden logs.

The dispute began when children from two different groups got into a fight while playing. The situation escalated and the parents from both groups got involved, leading to a violent clash with sticks, rods, and stones.

Several people, including women and youth, were injured in the incident, and some were admitted to the Nargund Taluk Hospital for treatment. Windows and doors of houses in the area were also damaged during the clash.

The Nargund police have registered a case in connection with the incident and are investigating further.
