JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A judge sentenced a Piggott man to 20 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sharing child sexual abuse material on social media.
On Friday, Sept. 26, 41-year-old John Glass entered a negotiated plea of guilty to five counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
Second Judicial Circuit Court Judge Chris Thyer sentenced him to 120 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections to run consecutively on two of the charges with 63 days of jail time credit.
Thyer sentenced Glass to 120 months of suspended imposition of sentence on each of two other charges. The fifth charge was nolle prossed.
Upon his release from the ADC, Glass will be required to register as a sex offender.
