DUBLIN -- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson was reportedly robbed on Friday night in Dublin after the team arrived in the city, but Irish police have yet to receive a formal complaint from Thompson, the NFL, or the Steelers. As a result, they have not affirmed the details of the incident or that even a robbery took place.

Steelers spokesman Burt Lauten said in a statement to NFL Network that the team was ‘aware of the incident’ that occurred between Thompson and someone in Dublin, but would have no further comment.

“We are aware of a situation involving Skylar Thompson on Friday night in Dublin. We will have no further comment at this time as we are working with NFL security to gather more information regarding the incident,” Lauten said.
