College Grove Park in Williamson County could potentially get the funding it needs for a much-needed renovation after a recent commission meeting and community discussion.
Lions Club Park was first built in the 1960’s and was purchased by Williamson County in the early 2000’s.
The full renovation is expected to cost about $10 million, with half needed during this fiscal year, officials said. The money will be used to install new baseball fields, a multipurpose soccer and football field, pickleball courts and new walking trails.
Members of the Williamson County Commission discussed their support for the park but addressed issues with its funding. Residents were also vocal about their support of the project.
