WWE legend John Cena's final ever match has been officially announced.

Cena , 48, is one of the greatest professional wrestlers ever after a stunning 23-year career that saw him winning a record 17 world championships.

But The Champ's illustrious stint in wrestling is coming to an end in December after embarking on his Farewell Tour, which kicked off on January 6.

And WWE announced the Tour will be coming to an end on December 13.

That is when the ex-WWE Champion will compete in his retirement match at Saturday Night's Main Event.

The show will take place at Capital One Arena in Washington DC and the former World Heavyweight Champion will compete in the main event.

Cena's final opponent has yet to be revealed, although a few names have been touted.
