Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited a Durga Puja pandal in Delhi's CR Park on Ashtami , offering prayers at the Karli Bari temple. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was also present during the visit.
In view of the Prime Minister's presence, the Greater Kailash-II Welfare Association issued an advisory for residents, urging them to avoid certain internal roads in CR Park. The restrictions are in effect from 3 pm to midnight to ensure smooth movement and security during the visit.
BJP strategists believe that through the Prime Minister's visit, the party is using Durga Puja as a platform to signal its campaign for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections.
