Crime Branch has arrested and chargesheeted two Property Dealers of Kathua for major land scam involving an amount of ₹ 1.25 crore.

The arrested and chargesheeted property dealers have been identified as Devinder Singh S/o Jai Singh R/o Ward No. 10, Kathua and Anil Kumar S/o Bishamber Dass R/o Baira, Kathua.

In 2024, an FIR was registered on the written complaint received from Jaswinder Singh of Pathankot, Punjab and Verinder Sharma of Greater Kailash Jammu, stating therein that the complainants being partners in the firm “Transworld Infra Developers and Builders” had been intending to manufacture a unit in Kathua.
