INDIANAPOLIS — Four people were arrested after a shooting in downtown Indianapolis early Saturday morning.

IMPD officers responded to the 100 block of E. South St. , near Pennsylvania Avenue and Delaware Street, when they heard gunshots being fired just before 2:30 a.m. Sept. 27.

Officers on scene said they found two cars that were shot and multiple shell casings.

Shortly after, police said a man who was shot arrived at a local hospital. Police said he is believed to have been shot during the East South Street incident.

Officers on scene arrested two people: a 30-year-old man and a 23-year-old man.

The 30-year-old man was arrested on an active warrant out of Hamilton County.
