Promising a career as an airhostess, Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati allegedly initiated online chats with young aspirants and then sent them obscene messages, officers investigating harassment claims against him have found. Officers recovered photos of air hostesses and screenshots of display pictures of several young women from his phone, said police.

The self-styled godman, accused of sexually harassing at least 17 women studying in an educational institute of which he was the chancellor and director, was arrested on Sunday .

On Tuesday, two wardens of the institute and the associate dean were questioned along with Chaitanyananda regarding the allegations against him. All three women, officers added, have been mentioned in the FIR against the ‘godman’. They are sisters.
