BOISE, Idaho — America Walks and Lime partnered up this week to spread awareness about connecting and strengthening U.S. communities by traveling with out using your car.

The weeklong campaign is focused on exploring more inclusive and accessible means of transportation without driving a car in our community.

Is traveling here in the treasure valley really an option without using our cars?

We drive our cars a lot here in the valley.

Every day, we collectively drive nearly 17 million miles, that's about 20 miles per person, each day. That is according to the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho, or COMPASS.

But without an available form of mass transit, is it even possible to leave the car at home?
