KALAMAZOO, MI –– We’re about a month away from Michigan’s high school football state playoffs.

And as it stands right now, the Kalamazoo-area would be well represented.

If the season ended today, 17 teams would be playoff bound including four undefeated teams –– Portage Central, White Pigeon, Martin and Mendon –– with playoff rankings inside the top 10.

But there’s still much to be decided with four weeks left in the regular season.

Just 32 teams make the playoffs from each 11-player division, while 15 teams make the cut from each 8-player division.

Check out all the teams that are currently sitting with a playoff spot, along with all the other teams vying to get into the postseason with Selection Sunday fast approaching.
