ANN ARBOR – Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore didn’t do much celebrating when he returned from his two-game suspension.

Under interim coach Biff Poggi, the 20th-ranked Wolverines (3-1) went 2-0, including a 30-27 road victory over Nebraska on Sept. 20 to kick off Big Ten play.

“Won the game,” Moore said at his weekly Monday news conference. “That’s all I care about is winning the game, and our kids are happy. That’s what I wanted. That’s all I needed. It wasn’t my celebration because I’m already ready for this next one. You got 24 hours. You don’t got 48 or 72. So you got 24 hours, and there was the congratulations, there was the text (to Poggi).
