Police have publicly identified two men killed in separate homicides in Portland last weekend.

Cesar Alejandro Cuevas-Morales, 32, of Venezuela, was shot to death in the 3400 block of Southeast 130th Avenue around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, the Portland Police Bureau said in a statement.

Officers found him dead at the scene when they arrived, and police haven’t announced any arrests in his killing.

On Sunday, 57-year-old Talmage L. Ellis was stabbed to death in Dawson Park around 1:15 p.m., police said.

Jermaine D. McKenzie, 50, has been arrested in the case.
