On Tuesday, September 30 at 11:30 a.m., Mayor Muriel Bowser will preview legislation tied to the Growth Agenda at a rescheduled event originally planned for Monday, September 29. The legislation is intended to support citywide growth, streamline development processes, and enhance the District’s competitiveness as a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment. The Mayor will also announce the recipients of the Vitality Fund and the inaugural Growth Fund—two incentive programs supporting businesses in high growth industries including the technology, life sciences, and professional services sectors. More than $1.5 million will be awarded, resulting in 250 new jobs.
