A Bollywood actor has reportedly been detained at the Chennai airport after he was caught with 3.5 kg of cocaine worth Rs 35 crore in his luggage. As per The Times of India, the actor is known for playing supporting roles in several films, including Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. The star had returned from Singapore when the authorities found drugs hidden in the false bottom of his luggage.

As per TOI, the seizure was part of a joint operation conducted by Chennai Customs and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI). The actor had returned from Singapore when air intelligence officials stopped him for checking and found pouches filled with powder. Upon checking, it was confirmed that the substance is cocaine.
