US President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned Hamas that it has only a few days to decide on his proposed Gaza peace plan, cautioning of severe consequences if the group refuses. Trump made it clear that the group had only "three or four days" to respond.
"Hamas is either going to be doing it or not, and if it's not, it's going to be a very sad end," he said.
Speaking to reporters as he left the White House, Trump said leaders from both Israel and the Arab world had already signed on to the proposal, adding, "we're just waiting for Hamas."
When asked whether there was space left for bargaining over the plan, Trump replied, "Not much."
