WASHINGTON — Reading Rainbow, the beloved children's educational program, is coming back nearly 20 years after the final episode aired.
The classic PBS series will return on the KidZuko YouTube channel , a kid-focused channel produced by Sony Pictures Television. Reading Rainbow will be produced by Buffalo Toronto Public Media, out of Buffalo, New York. BTPM is the same company that produced the original show decades ago.
In a statement, a BTPM spokesperson confirmed the series would return for a four-episode run, accompanied by companion vertical videos.
The show will be available starting at 10 a.m. EST each Saturday in October on the KidZuko channel and on ReadingRainbow.org.
