BATON ROUGE, La. (KALB) - Attorneys representing the family of Southern University student Caleb Wilson have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, its local chapters, members, and Southern University following his hazing-related death in November 2024.
Wilson, 20, a junior mechanical engineering student and member of Southern’s Human Jukebox marching band, collapsed during underground pledging activities.
On Monday, the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner ruled his death a homicide caused by cardiac arrest from a blow to the chest.
