A Massachusetts man could spend the rest of his life in prison for the murder of his wife last year -- a killing that happened 40 years after he was convicted of killing his previous wife.
Kenneth Robson, 68, of Springfield, was sentenced to 25 years to life in state prison after pleading guilty to second degree murder in the 2024 killing of his wife, 45-year-old Quitzia Holmes , the Hampden District Attorney's Office said Tuesday.

The murder charge stems from an incident in the early-morning hours on April 30, 2024, when Springfield police received a 911 call from Robson. During the call, he identified himself and told dispatchers he need an ambulance because he "hit his wife with a hammer and she might be dead.
