NEW ORLEANS — The woman killed in a , which also injured three other people, has been identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office.
On Tuesday, the coroner announced the woman killed was 33-year-old Jessica Williams.
The New Orleans Police Department said officers responded around 2:22 a.m. Sunday to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of Bourbon Street. When they arrived, officers found three victims: two women and a man. One of the women, later identified as Williams, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other woman and the man were taken to a hospital.
A short time later, police located a fourth victim near the intersection of Saint Charles Avenue and Canal Street. The woman, who had a graze wound, was also taken to a hospital for treatment.
