Mariah Carey has a new vision of love.

After years of performing together with her and ex-husband Nick Cannon 's daughter Monroe "Roe" Cannon at her concerts, the pop legend is encouraging the 14-year-old to pursue her own musical dreams.

"My daughter's into music," Mariah told Jimmy Fallon on the Sept. 29 episode of The Tonight Show . "She used to sing with me on my Christmas tour, but I don't know if she's doing it this year. I'm trying to get her to do her own thing. I think she wants to, so possibly."

While Roe appears to be on the path to following in her mom's footsteps, her twin brother, Moroccan "Roc" Cannon is on his own path.
