A person was killed Tuesday morning when two SUVs collided in a Plano intersection, sending one rolling onto the sidewalk, police say.
Plano Police told NBC 5 that officers were called to a crash at about 8 a.m. at Parkwood Boulevard and Legacy Drive.
Crash investigators said a gray Kia Kiro was heading westbound on Legacy and making a left turn on Parkwood when it collided with the back driver’s side of an eastbound Ford Bronco. The collision caused the Bronco to roll onto the sidewalk, hitting two pedestrians.
Plano Fire-Rescue took both people standing on the sidewalk to the hospital. One of the pedestrians later died. That person will be identified after their family has been notified of their death. Police said the second injured pedestrian does not have injuries that are believed
