Airports will stay functional during shutdown, but delays are possible

The Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport doesn't anticipate any disruptions to air travel due to the growing threat of a government shutdown, but aviation industry organizations warn of the opposite.

Lawmakers have until midnight on Sept. 30 to come to an agreement and halt a government shutdown; however, a stalemate between Senate Republicans and Democrats persists.
