LONG BEACH — Long Beach Wilson head coach Raudric Curtis has a hypothesis about what he believes it takes to win high school football games.

The Bruins never rushed their deliberate, yet effective offensive play calling in a 30-7 road victory over Millikan on Sept. 26.

Coach Curtis said that an analytical strategy was the game plan all along.

“I told you about game theory when they first hired me so we look for opportunities,” Curtis said. “We tried to stifle what they were strong at. Tried to take what they were weak at. We took what they gave us. We set up the long game and this was total victory.”
