EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Pictures has just inked an overall deal with five-time Oscar-nominated filmmaker James Mangold , under which the Logan and Ford v. Ferrari filmmaker will develop, direct and produce feature film projects for the Skydance owned studio.

The deal comes in the wake of the new Paramount announcing its first big project under Studio Co-Chairs Josh Greenstein and Dana Goldberg on day one, that being Mangold’s reteam with Timothée Chalamet, High Side. Paramount won that project in a highly competitive bidding war.
