SEC Football Media Days is heading to the state of Florida in 2026.

The league announced on Sept. 30 that the annual preseason event will be held from July 20-23 2026 in Tampa at the JW Marriott and Tampa Marriott on Water Street.

The event has traditionally been held in Hoover, Ala., before bouncing around in recent years, from Nashville, Tenn., to Dallas, Texas, to Atlanta, Ga.

Coaches and players from all 16 teams will be available for interviews during the four-day event that ushers in the unofficial start for the 2026 season. Florida football will now have the shortest trip of all 16 teams as Gainesville is less than a three hours drive from downtown Tampa.
