TYRONE, Pa. (WTAJ) -- An Altoona man accused of breaking into his father's home escaped police, despite the use of tasers to prevent him from running.
Shawn Boyd Miller, 27, was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, resisting arrest, escape and related charges after police were called to a home on Bell Tip Road in Antis Township around 4 p.m. Sept. 27.
Pennsylvania State Police were called to the residence by Miller's father, who alleged Miller was not to be on his property or in his home, according to the criminal complaint. Troopers arrived to find furniture and other items taken from the home and placed in the front yard.
