EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (First Alert 4) - A man was arrested in the stabbing death of a woman in East St. Louis.

Shanika S. Barbee, 38, was found fatally stabbed in an apartment in the 3200 block of State Street on Sept. 27.

On Tuesday, police announced that Jamal L. Wilson, 42, had been charged with first-degree murder in Barbee’s death.
