ST. LOUIS — Authorities on Tuesday charged a man with throwing a chunk of asphalt at a car on Interstate 44 near Arsenal Street, near where several cars were hit with rocks last week.
Joseph Patzius, 51, was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree property damage, and drug possession. He was in custody without bond on Tuesday, according to online records.
A man told police he was driving Monday on I-44 near Arsenal Street when "he heard a noise as though something hit the car," St. Louis police wrote in charging documents.
