New Delhi, Sep 30: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday announced the successful completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, publishing the final list with nearly 7.42 crore electors.
The exercise, conducted between June 24 and September 30, saw over 65 lakh names removed from the draft list and more than 21 lakh eligible voters added. Physical and digital copies of the updated rolls have been shared with political parties, while electors can check their details online at voters.eci.gov.in.
The ECI thanked voters, election officials, political parties, and the media for their active participation, stressing its motto of “no eligible voter to be left out, and no ineligible person to be included.” Eligible citizens can still apply for inclus
