Good Tuesday. Other than an additional stray sprinkle or two we will have a nice night with some clearing of skies late tonight. Most of the rain today has been well east of Chattanooga more toward the Blue Ridge Mountains. That rain is associated with Hurricane Imelda. As Imelda and Humberto start moving off to the NE, we will have dry, sinking air moving in which will keep rain chances away. We will still be warm on Wednesday with the high reaching 86.
Cooler and lower-humidity air will start moving in on Thursday. We will have mostly sunny skies and a high of 82. We will only reach 80 Friday and 82 Saturday.
Sunday will also be in the low 80s, but the humidity will be on the rise. We will get some energy coming up from the Gulf that will allow for a good chance of scattered showers Su
