There has long been speculation that a member of the royal family might join the BBC 's glitzy dance competition, but Tom - who is Queen Camilla's son - has now made it clear that it won't be him. ‌

He faced questions about potentially gracing the dancefloor during an appearance on Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh . The 50-year-old was pressed about taking part, but flatly denied it, reports Wales Online . ‌

Alan probed: "I know the Queen, your mum, is a fan of Strictly . I have got to ask Tom, have you been approached?"
