DES MOINES, Iowa -- Iowa's Third Congressional District Congressman Zach Nunn (R) was in Des Moines on Tuesday as a continuing resolution sits in the U.S. Senate. That resolution needs to pass in order to avoid a government shutdown tonight.

Rep. Nunn also requested from the federal government the final removal order for now former Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Ian Roberts. He discussed with WHO 13's Zach Fisher the process of obtaining that document, from May 2024, and a document provided by Dr. Roberts' legal team stating that it was his belief his immigration case was resolved successfully in March of 2025.
