JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) - The Jackson City Council held a special meeting on Tuesday to approve Jackson Mayor John Horhn's appointments to city positions.

The City Council approved the following appointments: • Rasean O. Thomas - Fire chief of Jackson Fire Department • Pieter Teeuwissen - Chief administrative officer for the City of Jackson • Pamela D.C. Junior - Director of the Department of Human & Cultural Services for the City of Jackson • Nathan Slater - Director of Information Technology (IT) for the City of Jackson • Nic Lott - Director of the Department of Constituent Services and Communications for the City of Jackson • Angela Harris - Municipal Clerk for the City of Jackson • Toya Martin - Director of the Department of Human Resources for the City of Jackson • Drew
