One person was sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision on US 45 on Tuesday.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said they were dispatched at 7:05am to a two-vehicle injury collision on US 45 North between KY 849 and KY 1241.

Deputies said 49-year-old Michael Ladd of Brookport, IL was southbound on US 45 in the left lane when he came up behind a vehicle in the right lane driven by 28-year-old Harley Stephens of Hickory.

Ladd was said to be distracted for a moment as he was traveling and his vehicle drifted from the left southbound lane into the right southbound lane, striking Stephens’ vehicle in the left rear. The collision caused Ladd’s vehicle to go airborne and roll one compete time, coming to rest on its wheels.
