Metrolinx will defer major track work on a portion of the Lakeshore West GO line this weekend for the Toronto Blue Jays' first two games of the American League Division Series (ALDS).
The transit network previously said there would be service disruptions of various levels on the train line on the weekends of Oct. 4 and 5 and Oct. 25 and 26.
On Tuesday, Metrolinx announced GO Transit services would continue as scheduled on Oct. 5 and 6, when the Jays play their first two playoff games, and that the provincial agency looks forward to assisting fans in making it to the Rogers Centre.
