A 79-year-old man died following a tractor rollover in South Dundas on Monday evening. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on a trail near the intersection of Caughnawaga Road and Forest Road.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the scene after individuals walking on the trail discovered the overturned tractor. Upon arrival, officers found the man pinned underneath the vehicle. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

Initial investigations by OPP's traffic incident team indicate that the tractor left the trail and rolled over, leading to the fatal injuries sustained by the operator. The man was a resident of South Dundas Township.
