BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — The families of the teenagers have released new video to WSAV of the altercation at the Squiregate Community in Hilton Head.

According to family members, these videos show what led to the now-viral video and altercation. In the video, the boys are having a conversation with what seems to be the off-duty deputy in his personal vehicle.

At the end, the deputy exits his truck. He appears not to have the bulletproof vest that he is seen wearing in the original video.

Another new video released shows the moments before the deputy approached the teens in the truck. A neighbor follows the boys on an ATV and asks them where they live. The boys answer, "It's none of your business."
